Super Surfactant
The Super Surfactant series (patent pending) is salt tolerant and can be added directly to brines containing high concentrations of electrolytes including divalent cations. The Super Surfactants are designed to effectively reduce the interfacial tension between the injection brine and the residual oil at low concentrations without the need for alkali.

Advantages:

  • Low concentrations required
  • Tolerant to salt and divalent cations in the injection brine and connate brine
  • Stable to high temperatures
  • Can be used at low concentration (0.02% - 0.2%) to effectively reduce the interfacial tension between the crude oil and brine
  • Alkali is not required
  • Water treatment is not required
  • Potential for scale and corrosion is eliminated
  • Less equipment and maintenance required
