NOFOAM™ 1976™, is a silicone free anti-foam agent which combines the best properties of organosilicone and organic based foam control agents. It is stable in extreme pH ranges ( pH <1 - 14) and it is stable at temperatures greater than 350 °F. These properties allow diverse applications as phosphoric acid production, caustic digestion of aluminum ores, jet dyeing.

Coatings using NOFOAM-1976 are not subject to pinholes or recoating problems as sometimes occurs with silicone based foam control agents. NOFOAM-1976 also resists hydrolysis in strong alkali which occurs with some silicone based foam control agents.
